Leo R. Turcotte, Ph.D., Senior Economist

Leo R. Turcotte is a Senior Economist at the Center for Forensic Economic Studies, where he concentrates on the analysis of economic damages in commercial, employment and personal-injury matters in litigation. In addition to litigation-related analysis, Dr. Turcotte has analyzed issues relating to coal gasification plants, health care, national lotteries and other industries. He also lectures and writes on economic topics.

Prior to joining the Center in 2006, Dr. Turcotte served as an assistant professor of Economics at West Chester University, teaching courses in Quantitative Business Analysis, Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Data Analysis for Decision Making (statistics), and Business Economics.

He also was an analyst at the Medstar Research Institute, where he performed clinical outcomes research for Washington Hospital Center (WHC) and National Rehabilitation Hospital.

He earned his Doctorate in Economics from Binghamton University, State University of New York.
